For 18 months Brendan Rodgers has largely kept his emotions in check.
There has never been any doubt about his passion for Celtic but standing by the touchline he has been more of an approving mentor than an excitable parent watching his team in action.
After the Champions League defeats from Paris Saint Germain and Anderlecht Rodgers was highly critical of his players but that was all forgiven last night.

Over the last two months there has been a lethargy about the Celtic side with a growing injury list hindering attempts to rediscover the heights of last season.
Those troubles were set aside when a brilliant combination between Charly Musonda and Callum McGregor lit up the east end with the ball buried in the Russian net.
As the stands shook with excitement Rodgers went racing down the touchline to celebrate in the same manner as his predecessors Martin O’Neill and Neil Lennon.
