Tony Watt has accepted an invite to train with Aberdeen.
The former Celtic striker recently reached an agreement to terminate his contract with Belgian side OH Leuven.
Derek McInnes is a big admirer of the striker and tried to take him on loan to Pittodrie in 2014 but Watt took up an option to join Lierse in Belgium.

Celtic sold Watt to Standard Liege a year later but the 24-year-old has had an unfortunate habit of joining clubs shortly before a change of manager.
A move to Charlton followed in 2016 but he then found himself out on loan at Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers.
After agreeing his release from Leuven Watt is free to join a club in a country where the transfer window is open with a short term deal to Scandinavia likely before a return to the UK in the summer.
