Kris Commons added a topical line to Alfredo Morelos’ day of misery by claiming that his mum could have scored the sitter missed by the Columbian strike ace.
With Celtic holding on to a slender 3-2 lead it seemed that Morelos was about to enter Ibrox folklore- he did but not in the way he would have wanted.
Scott Bain got a hand to a shot from James Tavernier but could only push the ball towards the Sevco marksman- inside the six yard box.

A goal seemed a certainty but somehow the ball found it’s way into Bain’s hands after the strikers shot hit the post and rolled along the goal-line.
The fans behind the goal couldn’t believe what they had witnessed. Scott Brown celebrated, Dedryck Boyata congratulated Bain.
There was still four minutes of stoppage time to be played but the clock has stopped on Morelos. His career at Ibrox is history.
Wherever he goes in Scotland he will be haunted by that miss, with much worse abuse than that handed out by Commons to contend with as Celtic prepare to wrap up another title.
