Neil McCann has been served with a Notice of Complaint by the SFA for his actions at the end of Dundee’s 4-0 defeat from St Johnstone.

The Dundee boss confronted Saints sub Zander Clark and was seen raising his hand towards Clark’s face.

After watching Tommy Wright perform the Ronny Roar McCann waited at the entrance to the dressing rooms and seemed to be involved in further confrontations.

Clark has also been cited by the SFA which is bound to be contested by St Johnstone with Tommy Wright keen to highlight the restraint shown by his players and staff.

The touchline confrontation was captured by television cameras but despite the evidence McCann claimed that it was ‘handbags’.

Losing to St Johnstone has put Dundee in the middle of the relegation battle just three points ahead of second bottom Partick Thistle ahead of matches against Aberdeen, Hearts, Celtic and Sevco.

The hearing will take place at Hampden on Thursday March 29.
