Graeme Murty looked a broken man when he faced the cameras after Sevco’s 1-0 defeat from Kilmarnock at Ibrox.
Two defeats in seven days made it seven losses at home for the tribute act with Murts resposible for five of those results.
Last Saturday the fans were counting down the days to the visit of Celtic with expectations sky high.
Not much unity among the management team
Many fans had been counting on back to back home wins to pile the pressure on the hoops but after today’s defeat the weight of the world seemed to be on Murty’s shoulders.
The usual upbeat management talk was missing, there was no mention of the journey or development programmes.
Murty is in charge until the end of the season but with each passing defeat his chances of getting the manager’s job on a permanent basis look to be fading fast.
