A report in The Sun claims that Scott Sinclair will quit Celtic in the summer.

The winger turned 29 yesterday and joined Celtic in August 2016 from Aston Villa in a £3.5m transfer deal.

After an outstanding debut season where he played a huge role in Celtic’s treble success he has been off the boil this season despite scoring 17 goals.

Sinclair was left out of the starting XI for the matches at home to Zenit St Petersburg and away to Sevco with Brendan Rodgers appearing to be planning for a departure with the signings of Lewis Morgan and Charly Musonda. Jonny Hates should also be fit for the start of next season.

Yesterday the Daily Mail reported that Bournemouth and Brighton were both interested in signing Sinclair who would net Celtic a fee in the region of £10m.

After impressing under Rodgers at Swansea Sinclair was sold to Manchester City in 2012 but he never made the breakthrough and was sold to Aston Villa three years later with the Birmingham side relegated before his switch to Celtic.
