It seems that 18 months and a cosy job at the BBC is enough to convince Tam McManus that it realy is time to move on.
For those that have followed the issues between Rangers (IL), the SFA and SPL/SPFL the events of the last six years have only firmed up their resolve not to move on.
In a nutshell the club from Ibrox fielded ineligible players. If it happens with East Stirling, Albion Rovers, Raith Rovers or Queens Park they have the match awarded to their opponents with a 3-0 scoreline.
To play in any match run by the SFA and SPL a member club has to register every detail of the player’s contract with both bodies. If that isn’t done the player is ineligible.
The rules are crystal clear, it’s not a complex matter, the opinion of a retired judge isn’t needed to understand straightforward rules.
Alex McLeish admits sporting advantage @ScottishFA
McLeish’s own #ebt was to the value of £1.7m#StripTheTitles https://t.co/BPvKg38gH9— Electronic Tims (@ETimsNet) July 10, 2017
Astonishing comments from Alex McLeish confirming that Rangers had to ‘cheat’ with EBT’s to buy better players to stay ahead of Celtic. ????

Mute button on fire tonight. Can’t be arsed with bitter Celtic fans desperate for McLeish to fail. Don’t want to hear it. And i won’t anymore thankfully.????

Because it’s true. Large majority of Celtic fans who are also Scotland fans/born in Scotland would rather Scotland/McLeish failed than him get us qualified for a major tournament simply because he is an ex Rangers manager and EBT’s. I find that incredibly sad to be honest. https://t.co/EJoH2dEod7

Tam works for BBC and the Herald. He has agenda’s to push if he wants the jobs. Putting anger at Rangers evading tens of millions in tax and reaping the advantages down to O*d F*rm bitterness is high on both outlets agenda’s.

In every game played under Alex McLeish as manager of Rangers (IL) ineligible players were fielded, in some matches the whole team was ineligible.
Making the matter worse is the fact that almost everyone at the top table of the game knew that the players were ineligible.
The contracts being recorded from Ibrox were laughable.
Did Barry Ferguson return to Ibrox in 2005 from Blackburn Rovers for a salary of £8,000/week, much less than his previous Ibrox contract.
Why did Ronald de Boer and Tore Andre Flo quit Barcelona and Chelsea for £15,000/week when Chris Sutton had his £30,000/week Chelsea wage maintained at Celtic?
Andrew Dickson, Rod Petrie and Campbell Ogilvie certainly knew what was going on and never said a word.
Every player that missed out on a win or draw bonus against Rangers (IL) were cheated.
McManus can move on now that he is on the gravy train provided by the state broadcaster, the fans that wasted money on match tickets won’t be moving on no matter how much the BBC and others try to push that agenda.
Apologies in advance, we’re about to try and thread all the EBT Bubblegum cards, so that we can show the scale of the cheating carried out by Rangers and ignored by the SFA. pic.twitter.com/KUNfvGjmx4
