Graham Spiers has confirmed the biggest open secret in broadcasting- Kenny MacIntyre is a huge fan of clubs from Ibrox.
MacIntyre anchors the weekday edition of Sportsound which has become a retirement home for former Ibrox players with Lee McCulloch and Billy Dodds recently added to the roster that includes Barry Ferguson, Alex Rae, Steven Thompson and Kris Boyd.
Whoever is in the @BBCSportsound studio tonight please take a mop in for @bbckennymac. He’s had a very distressing 24 hours.

Two leading Rangers players to be suspended, one possibly never to play for the club again, and Ibrox in meltdown. This is now pushing @bbckennymac to the brink. Beeb, have an army of psychiatrists on standby…to the 4th floor, PQ, and quick!

Tales about the good old days at Ibrox are a stable feature of the programme which is broadcast at 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
Spiers has been a regular on various programmes from the state broadcaster down the years including hosting his own golf programme during the summer months.
Spiers is one of the few broadcasters to have confirmed his support for the old Rangers club with most going for the St Mirren or Partick Thistle card rather than admit to supporting the Ibrox club.
After using a stream of former Ibrox aces throughout last week to preview the Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic MacIntyre had to turn to Michael Stewart and James McFadden to provide the post mortem on Sevco’s 4-0 defeat.
