Chris Sutton believes that Hibs are now capable of taking second place in the SPFL.
Neil Lennon’s side were the form team going into the post split fixtures and confirmed that with a deserved 2-1 win over Celtic at Easter Road.
It could have been a title party in front of the BT Sport cameras but a home win lifted Hibs onto the same number of points as Sevco and Aberdeen.
.@btsportfootball No party for Celtic today!! Hibs superb 2-1 win???????? Second place a real possibility for Hibs on that performance!! Celtic will have to wait until next week maybe…Great advert for the Scottish game????????

It was another disappointing display from Celtic coming less than a week after they had hammered Sevco at Hampden to reach the final of the Scottish Cup.
Hibs were 2-0 in front before substitute Odsonne Edouard pulled back a late consolation goal.
Celtic will now have to wait until next Sunday to clinch the title when Sevco visit the home of the champions although the League could be won if the Ibrox side and Aberdeen drop three points before the hoops are next in action.
