Sutton’s Hampden verdict

Chris Sutton wasn’t in the least surprised by Celtic’s 4-0 win over Sevco at Ibrox.

The BT Sport pundit has questioned the mentality of the Ibrox squad all season with those failings summed up in 90 minutes.

First half goals from Tm Rogic and Callum McGregor weren’t what the players that had cheered the semi-final draw had expected.

The anger of the Ibrox players spilled over when Andy Halliday was substituted, the man from Copland Road made his anger known to Graeme Murty as team-mates tried to restrain and calm him down. If only he had shown the same anger on the pitch.

After the break Celtic scored with two penalties, the first a cheeky Paneka style effort from Moussa Dembele with Olivier Ntcham finding the net in more traditional fashion.

Ibroc fans don’t like the message but Sutton was right about Mark Warburton and Pedro Caixinha, he’s right about Murty as well and a dressing room full of losers.
