Celtic have got 10 days to sign up Odsonne Edouard.

According to a report in The Sun their French sources have claimed that Celtic have until 31 May to complete a £10m move for the Paris Saint Germain striker.

That fee consists of a £5m down payment with the balance performance rated which should fit within the club’s structure,

Brendan Rodgers has spoken about his keenness to complete a move for the 11 goal striker who slammed home the winner at Ibrox in the most significant domestic performance of the season.

That goal choked the cheers of the Ibrox dressing room with Graeme Murty’s squad left devastated by further 4-0 and 5-0 defeats to the eventual treble winners.

Edouard arrived on loan from last August as Celtic’s third choice striker but started some matches ahead of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.

On it’s own a £10m fee for a 20 year-old striker would be a huge risk but after a season at the club a £5m initial fee with add-ons’s expected to be linked to Champions League progress seems a reasonable package.
