Sevco fans have reacted with joy to news that Celtic will only be given 700 tickets for next season’s visit/s to Ibrox.
The sight of 7,000 hoops fans celebrating behind the goal has proved too much for many fans with a campaign launched on the notorious message board Follow Follow.

Fantastic news! Glad the board has finally grown a set and taken a firm stance towards those bastards. It will be fantastic not having to look across at over 7000 of those rat fucks and the poison they bring with them. Was about time.

We cut the Tims allocation? I love you Rangers.

I’m happy that we don’t have to see 7000 of the unwashed at Ibrox when you lot come to visit. 7k down to 900 ????????

Fantastic news. Give them the least we’re allowed to give them not a single seat more.

Brilliant. Does this mean current season ticket holders in the broomloan (including kids) will now get the option of celtic tickets? @RangersFCSLO

Despite two meetings with Managing Director Stewart Robertson the idea was rejected.
Having appointed Steven Gerrard as manager the great unwashed have bought up season tickets in their droves giving the board the chance to bring in extra cash to fund this year’s war-chest.
Celtic and Sevco have had an arrangement over ticket allocations but with the Ibrox side slashing Celtic’s allocation they can expect similar action from the hoops for the first derby match of the season.
In four matches at Ibrox since Sevco reached the top flight Celtic have picked up 12 points out of 12 with the recent 3-2 win on the south side effectively ending Graeme Murty’s title charge.
