Desperate Sevco have finally given in to the wish list of their most extreme supporters and have removed Celtic fans from the Broomloan Road Stand.

A rush of sales for the Gerrard Revolution has resulted in the club making full season tickets available for the Broomloan Road Stand which has housed 7,000 Celtic fans for the last two seasons.

According to the latest Sevco statement Celtic will now be given the same allocation as Ross County and Hamilton Accies supporters.

The company stated: “An unfortunate consequence of putting our supporters first is that this increased demand negatively impacts on the number of tickets which will be allocated to visiting teams. This means all visiting fans will now be situated in the corner between the Broomloan and Sandy Jardine Stands.

We believe that this is the best possible outcome after considering the unprecedented levels of support from Rangers fans. Together we are Rangers.”

Sevco will visit Celtic Park in the first round of fixtures next season with Celtic likely to proportionately reduce the allocation of tickets for the great unwashed.

The SPFL has no regulations on ticket allocations beyond ‘a reasonable number’.

Towards the end of the season just finished Sevco vowed to take action against Hibs after their allocation for the final match of the season at Easter Road was reduced.

This decision continues a trend of playing to the gallery that suggests some very bad news is around the corner for the tribute act.
