Lewis Morgan is the target for today’s Ibrox anger- following on from Micky O’Halloran and Steven Whittaker.
The winger was voted Championship Player of the Year and picked up his trophy outside Celtic Park wearing the kit of the treble winners.
Morgan was released from the Murray Park Conveyor Belt as a 16-year-old but managed to salvage his career with St Mirren.

@Oldfirmfacts1 As a Celtic supporter, I think it’s important to bridge the divide and acknowledge your rivals’ achievements. So I wanted to congratulate Rangers FC for their former youth player Lewis Morgan being named Championship POTY.

Over the last 18 months he has been the most exciting player outside of the SPFL Premiership with most Sevco fans assuming that he would move to Ibrox at the end of his contract.
Brendan Rodgers moved swiftly to sign Morgan in January with St Mirren picking up a £300,000 transfer fee and getting the player on loan for the second half of the season.
Despite mountains of evidence it seems that Sevco fans are still living in the era of the O** F***, refusing to accept the changes that have taken place since 2012.
Moving to Celtic to work with Rodgers and the best young players in the country is the career move that almost every player aspires to.
Playing fives with Andy Halliday and Jason Holt is career suicide that even the most blinkered young Ibrox fan accepts.
In May 2012 a banner from the Green Brigade warned Rangers (IL) fans the fate that awaited their grandchildren, it seems that the banner was over cautious as Whittaker Junior and Morgan demonstrate.
