Chris Sutton has hit out at the treatment dished out to Scott Brown.
Recently Sam Cosgrove, Cedric Kipre and Andrew Davies were red carded for attacks on the Celtic skipper with Steven Naismith somehow escaping similar punishment today for an assault on Brown.
Naismith also went unpunished for another x-rated attack on James Forrest with referee Bobby Madden having a clear view of both incidents.
Scott Brown does not get the protection from the referees he should…. fair play to him he gets up and doesn’t complain… Bobby Madden had a shocker… https://t.co/YEHZHAXl4n

Brown appeared to survive the match unscathed despite clearly being targeted by the Hearts players.
Celtic won today’s match 3-1 despite falling behind to a goal from Kyle Lafferty.
Dedryck Boyata quickly equalised with second half goals from Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair meaning that the hoops are the first visiting team to win at Tynecastle this season.
Brown and his team-mates now have two more SPFL Premiership fixtures to complete before they turn their attention to the Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell on May 19.
