Brendan Rodgers has called on to SFA Compliance Officer to take action against Steven Naismith.
The on loan Hearts striker delivered an x-rated attack on Scott Brown that went unpunished by Bobby Madden who had a clear view of the incident.
The Celtic skipper is used to rough treatment but that incident went over a few borders with Naismith knowing exactly what he was doing.
“You only need to see it, the ball was gone and the follow through is there to see,” Rodgers told BBC Scotland.
“The ball was well gone and it wasn’t just late, it was very late. It will be just interesting to see what the authorities make of that.”

Had Madden booked Naismith no further action could be taken against the Hearts forward who later on committed an equally bad attack on James Forrest.
With tomorrow being a Bank Holiday Naismith is likely to be free to play against Hibs in midweek with Hearts able to put in an appeal if he is offered a two match suspension.
Any ban issued in Scotland would also apply to England with the former Scotland forward returning to Norwich City where he has a year left on his contract.
