Celtic fans shared their joy on twitter as Dedryck Boyata’s Belgium beating England.
The hoops defender doesn’t have to look far for critics but put in a near flawless performance in the centre of the Belgian defence.
Jamie Vardy and Marcus Rashford barely got a look in as they attempted to prove to Gareth Southgate that there is life beyond Harry Kane.
Jamie Vardy is having a party in Dedryck Boyata’s back pocket.

67 out of 68 passes completed by Dedryck Boyata tonight against England. Quality from the Celtic man, looks more reliable in a back 3

Adnan Januzaj scored the only goal of the game, cutting inside Danny Rose then curling a great shot beyond Jordan Pickford.
Before the match the main discussion was over whether it would be best to finish first or second in the group with many experts believing that the Group G runners up had an easier route towards the semi-finals!
England can now test out that theory when they face Columbia for a place in the last eight while Belgium take on Japan.
Should Belgium get past Japan it means that Celtic are unlikely to see Boyata back until August although tonight’s display is bound to increase speculation that he could be transferred elsewhere.
