Celtic went down to a 1-0 defeat to Bohemians in their second pre-season friendly in Austria.

Brendan Rodgers again changed virtually a whole team at half time but the second half Celts struggled to make any impact on the side that finished seventh in last season’s Czech League.

Celtic should have been in front before Bohemians scored in the 35th minute but were taught a lesson in terms of finishing as the Czech side took advantage of some sloppy defending between Craig Gordon and Kieran Tierney.

At this stage of the season wins are good for moral, defeats are deemed to be fitness exercises, this afternoon it was a fitness exercise 10 days ahead of the Champions League qualifier away to Alashkert.

6 Christie set up Forrest with a cut back but his shot hit the bar from 15 yards out

8 Brown pass opened Bohemians defence for Edouard, his cut back was headed by Sinclair but the keeper held the effort.

12 Sinclair classic move in off the left flank, curled shot at goal but keeper touched it round the post for a corner.

22 Edouard held off two defenders, fashioned a decent chance but when he checked back his shot flew well over

27 Christie laid the ball back to Hayes but his low right foot shot from just inside the box is saved by the Bohemians keeper.

32 Calvin Miller replaces Johny Hayes

35 1-0 BOHEMIANS Tierney fails to control a fierce pass from Craig Gordon, a Bohemians player steals possession, hits the bye line and cuts the ball back for his team-mate to score from 10 yards out,

39 Christie races onto a long Gordon clearance, takes a touch around the keeper but his shot from an angle is cleared for a corner.

In terms of fitness Celtic looked in great condition but the finishing was sloppy. Most of the forward players were guilty of missing chances, an extra edge needed before heading to Armenia.

Calvin Miller survived the half time cull, Mikey Johnston and Tony Ralston made their first appearances of the tour with Olivier Ntcham taking the armband from Scott Brown.

46 Great run from Mikey Johnston, hits the bye-line down the right but Scott Allan chokes his shot from 10 yards out.

60 Dangerous cross whipped in from the Bohemians right but no takers.

72 Miller drives a low ball across goal but no takers.

74 Great instinctive save from Bain after a Bohemian forward breaks beyond the Celtic defence.

76 Griffiths and Johnston combine on the right but the cut back is just too far in front of Allan

80 Bain at full stretch to push over a cross cum shot from a tight angle on the left
