Celtic’s new look pitch is already in place- a month ahead of the hoops first game of the season.
Work on stage two of the hybrid pitch began as soon as the final match of last season was completed with the club investing £1.5m in the pitch.
The old pitch was laid in 2014 following the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games but two years later Brendan Rodgers requested that a new high quality pitch was laid.

Work began last summer on the pitch with phase two well underway as the club provide Rodgers with the best pitch in Scottish football.
With the new look pitch to look forward to the next significant date for the Celtic boss to look forward to is June 19 when the first two rounds of the the Champions League qualifiers will be made.
Celtic will be seeded for both rounds with the matches starting on July 10/11 and continuing through every midweek in July and August with four group stage places open through the ‘Champions Route’.
