Joe Thomson has signed a two year contract with Dunfermline Athletic.
The midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at Queen of the South but has decided on a move to East End Park at the end of his hoops deal.
Thomson came through the ranks around the same time as Liam Henderson and won all the honours with the Celtic youth and Development League squads..

The 21-year-old made one first team appearance, as a substitute away to Dundee United in August 2015 but was always up against fierce competition for a chance in midfield.
Loan spells at Dumbarton and Queen of the South (twice) gave him a taste of Championship football although a loan deal to Livingston at the start of last season ended quickly.
With Sam Wardrop (Dundee United), Jamie McCart (Inverness Caley Thistle) and Jamie Lindsay (Ross County) all in next season’s Championship there will be plenty of familiar faces competing with Thomson for promotion.
