Show Racism the Red Card Scotland have been called to account on twitter.
Yesterday the low profile Scottish arm of the campaign group found themselves in the spotlight after backing up claims from Shay Logan that he suffered racist abuse at Celtic Park.
It seems that SRTRC (Scotland) have altered their approach following the racist abuse of Scott Sinclair at Ibrox in April 2017.
An investigation into the Logan incident would be welcomed by almost all Celtic fans although it’s unlikely that the former Brentford defender has shown no interest in following up his initial claim.
The issue that brought most criticism was the claim by SRTRC (Scotland) that someone had claimed that ‘Logan brought it upon himself’.
They are condemning unfounded allegations of racism. Utterly bizarre & makes a mockery of their organisation which must have credibility to carry out its important objectives.

The same organisation that wheeled out that pish soaked bigot Bomber Brown. Any credibility they had mustered disappeared with that shambolic decision.

The fact that Shay Logan might be the recipient of abuse at any ground is not because of his colour or ethnic background but because he is a wee nyaff who goes out of his way to alienate opposition fans.

Please can you provide evidence any1 said he “brought it upon himself”
Racism is abhorrent, why didn’t you make a public statement at the time when Scott Sinclair was abused at ibrox asking the sfa to investigate.
I hope @CelticFC take you to the cleaners over this

Shay Logan behaved like an imbecile on his last visit to Celtic Park gesticulating to the crowd, attacking a Celtic player and getting himself sent off. He is not the victim of racist abuse at all. To imply that is a shocking miscarriage of justice, in fact just a bare-faced lie.

Celtic fans are behind a zero tolerance approach. Your organisation ignores anti-Irish racism which is part of everyday life in Scotland. As an organisation, you should hang your head in shame. Your pandering to the hate filled arrange support of Ibrox is absolutely shameful.

Why not ask the 2 police officers who had to drag Mr. Logan up the tunnel. Instead of issuing statements based on no facts whatsoever!!!.????????

Very selective with your criticism.
I find it very concerning that you where silent over the Sinclair incident. You now support Shay Logan who and this has nothing to do with race has shown time and again with his behaviour he is rotten to the core.— Kenny (@Admiraltim02) July 9, 2018
On Friday Brendan Rodgers responded to Logan’s claim, at no stage did he make anything like that claim. No one else from Celtic has commented.
With their decision to body swerve the most obvious examples of racism in Scotland, anti-Irish, SRTRC (Scotland) provides no useful function other than as a box ticking exercise for those that pay lip service to the issue.
