Sevco have dropped Lee Wallace from their Europa League squad.

A year ago the defender wore the armband of dignity in the matches against Progres Niederkorn but now finds himself behind Jordan Rossiter in the squad list while James Tavernier has been installed as captain.

Waldo hasn’t played a competitive match since hurting his knee against Partick Thistle last September but almost made the squad for the pre-season training camp in Spain.

A dispute with Graeme Murty following the 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat from Celtic is the main reason for the players current status at Ibrox.

Wallace and Kenny Miller were suspended by the club soon afterwards with the former Hearts defender fined four weeks wages with Miller handed a two week fine.

That decision has been appealed to the SPFL with Wallace unlikely to play again for Sevco despite being under contract until June 2019.

Miller left at the end of his contract last month and has been appointed manager of Livingston.
