Olivier Ntcham is set to hand Celtic a Champions League boost by declaring himself fit to face AEK Athens on Wednesday night.

The midfielder injured his ankle during the closing stages of Saturday’s 3-1 win over Livingston with Brendan Rodgers initially coy about the extent of the injury.

Now both The Sun and the Evening Times are reporting that Ntcham will be fit for Wednesday’s match against the French champions.

Having Scott Brown and the former Manchester City man together in the centre of the park will be key to Rodgers’ plans to take Celtic into the play-off round.

With Mikael Lustig and Tom Rogic both starting against Livingston the Celtic boss is getting closer to having a full strength squad to pick from.

Moussa Dembele will miss both matches against AEK Athens but both Leigh Griffiths and Jonny Hayes are fit and available.

The play-off round draw for the Champions League and Europa League will be made today, CLICK HERE for more details.
