Kieran Tierney will be fit and well for Celtic’s Champions League qualifier against AEK Athens.
The defender went down suddenly in the 81st minute of last night’s 0-0 draw away to Rosenborg, after treatment and a brief return to action he was replaced by Mikael Lustig as Celtic saw off some frantic attempts in the closing minutes.
As well as being one of Celtic’s top players there is no real deputy for the left-back with Calvin Miller having less than a dozen top team appearances to his name with Callum McGregor the other option.
???? BR on @kierantierney1: “Bit of cramp. Probably could’ve played on but we just wanted to make sure we would close out the game with fully fit players but he should be fine.”
More from the manager soon. #RBKCEL

The first leg against AEK Athens will take place on Wednesday with the draw for the play-off round taking place on Monday morning.
Celtic, or AEK, will be seeded in that draw but the matches against the Greek champions will concentrate the thoughts of Brendan Rodgers.
Lustig and Tom Rogic made appearances last night following World Cup duty with both players likely to start against Livingston on Saturday as the hoops boss looks to increase his options ahead of the first leg against AEK.
