Tonight in Norway Kieran Tierney will make his 30th appearance in European competition.
Less than three years ago he was pitched into a European debut at home to Fenerbahce after Emilio Izaguirre was sent off away to Ajax in the Europa League.
It’s fair to say that he looks completely different to the teenager pitched into action by Ronny Deila.

During that debut season Tierney and Leigh Griffiths were the driving force behind the title success with the cup defeats to Ross County and Sevco at Hampden best forgotten.
When Brendan Rodgers arrived in the summer of 2016 there was one position in the team that he didn’t need to think about changing- left back.
Goalkeepers, wingers, strikers, midfielders and central defenders have been brought in but at left-back the Celtic boss just has to keep working with Tierney to see improvement on a monthly basis.
