Sevco are in even deeper trouble than imagined after being forced into a new deal with Sports Direct by a High Court judge.

According to the well connected Phil MacGiollabhain the costs of that action and defeat will be felt throughout Ibrox for years to come.

The best spin applied so far has claimed that a one year deal on favourable ;JD Sports terms’ will see the tribute act quids in with orange tops being snapped up by the thousand.

The truth however is far different with no sign of defiance from the Sevco website and more importantly no more spending for Steven Gerrard.

What happens during the remainder of August on the transfer front will be the most visible signs of distress within the club- a club that had been promised £6m from a June share issue by it’s South African based chairman.

Phil’s report claims that a high powered delegation from Ibrox visited Mike Ashley with a white flag trying to broker a peace deal only to be laughed off the premises.

The new contract will benefit only one party and it won’t be Sevco. Ashley hasn’t forgotten how his name and company were demonised by King’s most obedient followers- both the moon howlers and their obedient publishers.

With Hummel putting pressure on Sevco over the non-sale of the strips that they haven’t yet manufactured things are getting heated inside Ibrox.

The third party, believed to be JD Sports aren’t thrilled that their entire strategy was handed over to their fiercest rival- and all the while Stevie G is demanding two new players for Sunday’s match at Aberdeen.
