Police Scotland were forced to hold back furious Sevco fans trying to storm onto Celtic Park.

The flashpoint came after the final whistle when Scott Brown led his players around the pitch to take the acclaim of 59,000 delighted home supporters.

As they approached the small corner hosting the 800 visiting fans things threatened to turn nasty as dozens of supporters surged to the front of the section where they were confronted by the police.

With all 800 ticket holders known to the police it shouldn’t be too difficult to trace the culprits who brought shame on their club.

It hadn’t been pleasant viewing for the away support as Celtic dominated throughout the match, hitting the woodwork four times either side of Olivier Ntcham’s goal.

Alfredo Morelos did force a save out of Craig Gordon but it was another miserable derby day for the Colombian who signed his second new contract this year on the eve of the match.
