The Stevie Gee Revolution suffered another set-back today when Livingston beat the tribute act 1-0 at the Tony Macaroni Stadium.

Last Sunday all was well at Ibrox after moving into second place following a 5-1 win over St Johnstone but seven matches into the new season Sevco are back in sixth place- eight points behind Hearts.

In four away matches so far this season Gerrard’s all stars have mustered a miserable two points.

After resting some of their top stars in the midweek Betfred Cup win over Ayr the tribute act were at full strength for the trip along the M8.

Dolly Menga scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute with Sevco unable to come up with an answer.

There were no obvious excuses for Gerrard to cling to as he prepares to face Rapid Vienna on Thursday before hosting league leaders Hearts three days later at Ibrox.
