Dedryck Boyata’s £70,000 Range Rover has been recovered with only flat tyres.

The Celtic defender got up on Friday morning to discover an empty driveway which he decided to share on Instagram.

By the time the image was shared a gold coloured Range Rover was found abandoned in Dennistoun in the east end of Glasgow with only flat tyres for the defender to repair.

With his motor recovered Boyata will be looking to help Celtic to a win over Hibs this afternoon to continue their climb up the table.

Neil Lennon’s side are a point ahead of the hoops but after their 6-0 win away to St Johnstone Brendan Rodgers is hopeful that his side has recovered top form.

Boyata is likely to be partnered in central defence by Filip Benkovic as the hoops attempt to push their way to the top of the SPFL table.
