Twitter has uncovered a brilliant picture of the young Bobby Murdoch with one of his first football trophies.
The 10-year-old Murdoch is easily recognisable as he raises a trophy for St Columbkille’s school in Rutherglen.

It is well known that the Lisbon Lions were all born and brought up within 30 miles of Celtic Park.
Ardrossan’s Bobby Lennox was the furthest flung of the Lions with Murdoch possibly the player brought up closest to Celtic Park.
Like many of the Lions Murdoch had been at Celtic for a number of years before his career was transformed by the arrival of Stein in 1965.
A simple move from inside right to right half made all the difference with his partnership with Bertie Auld critical to Celtic’s most famous successes under Jock Stein.
In 1973 he left Celtic to join Middlesbrough where he helped Jack Charlton’s side win promotion to the First Division.
Alongside most of the Lions Murdoch was largely overlooked by Scotland, collecting a pitiful tally of 12 international caps.
