Daniel Arzani will begin his recovery from ACL damage in Barcelona with the surgeon that has treated Vincent Kompany and Kevin Du Bruyne.
According to a report in The Sun leading surgeon Dr Ramon Cugat will treat the young Australian as he battles back to fitness.
Dr Cugat has worked with Pep Guardiola for a number of years and is acknowledged as the leading specialist in his field.
Arzani will undergo a number of tests before going under the knife with no date yet set for his return to action.
