Only one Scottish club for McTominay

Manchester United have received loan enquiries for Scott McTominay from England and Scotland.

The report comes from the BBC down south and not the tarnished EBT centric Glasgow office.

McTominay hasn’t been involved since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho who brought the midfielder into his plans last season.

It’s likely that only one Scottish side would be suitable for a loan involving a player with over 30 top team appearances for Manchester United.

Despite being born in Lancaster McTominay turned down the option to play internationally for England to make his full Scotland debut last season. In November he played alongside half a dozen Celts in Scotland’s victories over Albania and Israel.

Unless someone was to leave Celtic this month it’s difficult to see where another midfielder would fit in, especially with the loan deal only lasting until the end of this season.
