Chris Sutton has slammed Brendan Rodgers’ reasoning for leaving Celtic with three months left in the season.
The BT Sport pundit had expected the Irishman to move in the close season but was taken aback by the speed of events this week.
Rodgers slipped out of Lennoxtown on Monday afternoon then popped up at the King Power Stadium 24 hours later after trying to take all of his back-room staff to the English side.
Deary me… saying nothing would have been the best option… loved Celtic that much he moved to a club with nothing to play for… would Martin O Neill or Neil Lennon left for Leicester at this time or seen it through… we know the answer!!! https://t.co/juNRMx9LsG

The new Leicester boss looked uncomfortable throughout his media conference, regularly falling back into emotional language to describe his life long love for the club that he ditched earlier in the week.
Across social media Celtic fans were picking fault with Rodgers’ claims with the Irishman stating that it was a now or never chance to manage the 2016 EPL champions.
Rodgers will be in charge of Leicester for the first time on Sunday when they travel to face Watford.
