BOBBY MADDEN will referee Sunday’s Glasgow derby.

The Lanarkshire based official refereed Celtic’s last match away to Dundee and will now be given back-to-back fixtures involving Neil Lennon’s side. Having taken charge of the 1-0 win away to Kilmarnock last month it is the third time that Madden has been given a Celtic fixture in his last six domestic appointments.

Alan Mulvanny, another Lanarkshire based official will run the line with Kevin Clancy the fourth official.

Madden was the fourth official during the stormy December derby clash that led to Celtic demanding the publication of John Beaton’s match report. So far the SFA have completely blanked Celtic’s request.

After Odsonne Edouard’s late winner at Dens Park Celtic go into the derby clash with a healthy 10 point lead despite starting the new year on level terms with the Ibrox club.

Neil Lennon’s squad have been scattered across Europe over the last week with the hoops boss waiting to see how they are on return to Lennoxtown before he finalises his side for Sunday’s match.
