It’s not to be encouraged by Kris Ajer showed his compassion for a young Celtic fan at the end of today’s derby match.
The Norwegian was head and shoulders above any player on the park, putting in an inspired 90 minutes for a 20-year-old.
At the end of the match, after the ‘stramash’ had been sorted out the Celtic players went on a lap of honour to say thanks to the fans who had witnessed the Jekyll and Hyde performance.

From the crowd one primary school age fan emerged and was instantly huckled by a steward. Watching the incident Ajer ran after the fan, whipped off his top and handed it over with the steward not breaking his stride to allow the gift.
Ajer then had to catch up with his team-mates on their lap of honour while the fan hung on to a cherished item from an incident packed day watching the hoops move towards eight-in-a-row.
