Celtic will begin their pre-season preparations in Austria in June.

For the third season running the hoops will head to Austria with the first match to be confirmed being against Fourth Division side Pinkafeld on June 26.

After a couple of days at Lennoxtown the first team squad will head to Stegersbach to step up their preparations but due to international commitments upto a dozen players will be on an extended break.

Scotland face Belgium on June 12 with half a dozen Celtic players likely to be involved with the first Champions League qualifier to be played on July 9 or 10.

To reach the group stage Celtic will be involved in European matches for eight consecutive midweeks with qualification worth around £40m to the club.

Who will be in charge remains unclear although Neil Lennon is the firm favourite with the bookies following four wins and a draw since coming in as caretaker manager.
