Timo Weah will leave it up to his family to decide whether or not he will be back at Celtic next season.
The teenager has adapted quickly to life in Scotland with a rapport quickly established with the hoops support despite only being on loan for five months.
Whatever direction his career takes Weah will be fondly remembered for the impact he made coming off the bench to turn the match against St Johnstone but so far his Celtic career has mainly been as a substitute.
Paris Saint Germain will have a big say in where he plays his football next season with the American internationalist happy to keep his options open.
“It’s been great for me in Scotland, but it’s really up to the family,” Weah told The Sun.
“We just have to discuss it, see what opportunities best fit me and what is best for my career and my future. But who knows? There is always a possibility.
“Right now, I’m just focused on finishing the season, getting the Cup and hopefully scoring one or two more goals as well.”
One decision that will be taken out of Weah’s hands is whether or not he will be available for the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts on May 25.
The previous day the USA play Ukraine in their opening match of the u-20 World Cup Finals in Poland.
Weah has already picked up eight full caps with the US management team still to decide whether he should play for the u-20 side, and miss the Scottish Cup Final, or play with the full squad in June at the Gold Cup.
“I guess the club has to discuss it with the national team,” he added.
“I’d love to play in the Cup Final but it’s a World Cup as well. So it’s up to the club and the national team to discuss on which one is better.
“It’s going to be my first Scottish Cup Final, so it would be good to be a part of that.”
