After the outpouring of emotions for Billy McNeill there is a football match to be played with Celtic looking for three of the four points needed to put the SPFL title beyond reach.

Last week’s 0-0 draw at Hibs was described as flat by Lennon who’ll be looking for his players to come flying out the traps from the first whistle.

In December Kilmarnock came to Celtic Park but left on the wrong end of a 5-1 defeat in what turned out to be Leigh Griffiths last appearance before taking a break from football.

Last week Killie lost 1-0 at home to Aberdeen with Steve Clarke going into today’s match without Stewart Findlay, Kirk Broadfoot and Youssouf Mulumba from the side that started last Saturday.
