Celtic’s reserve side got back to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Ross County in Dingwall today.

Stephen Welsh and Karamoko Dembele put the hoops in front at the break but after the home side pulled a goal back Ewan Henderson restored the visitors two goal advantage.

With joint league leaders Hibs crashing to a 3-2 defeat at Murray Park despite being 2-0 up after 10 minutes it should be a happy coach that returns down the A9 tonight.

Mikey Johnston and Henderson dropped back into the reserve side, taking the place of Jack Aitchison and Ross McLaughlin from the side that drew 3-3 last week with St Mirren.

Johnston was the creator for the two first half goals, dropping a corner onto the head of Welsh for the third minute opener, 12 minutes later his solo run created a chance for Dembele who netted from close range.

Ruari Fraser pulled a goal back for Ross County five minutes after the restart but Henderson netted in the 64th minute after a great run down the left by Daniel Church,

CELTIC: Mullen; Ralston, Welsh, Duffy, Church; Coffey (Robertson 85), McInroy; Dembele, Herderson, Oko Flex (McLaughlin 85); Johnson
