Celtic fans have hi-jacked a video produced by 32 Red showing off the glories of the Ibrox trophy room, or museum to give it a more accurate term.
Looking at some fading pennants and trinkets picked up from the tax doping days in the Champions League seems a poor comparison to the three shiny trophies almost in permanent residence at Celtic Park alongside a replica of the European Cup.
The guide to the tour seems highly impressed by the Glasgow Cup which was recently won by Celtic’s u-20 side in a dramatic 3-2 win over their city rivals.
Winning the u-17 Al Kass tournament in Qatar earlier this year has taken on epic proportions with a special mention made in the rallying message sent out to renew season tickets.
After finishing the SPFL campaign in second place expectations are sky high with the responsibility to deliver trophies falling on Steven Gerrard.
So far no transfer fees have been committed for next season with much depending on the extent of the damages due to Sports Direct for breach of the merchandising contract.
We were lucky enough to get a peek at Rangers’ trophy room when we were filming at Ibrox…

And here we see the trophy cabinet, made of the finest woods from all over the world. A truly world-class trophy cabinet. With real glass. And handles to open it up. Stunning.

When rangers went into liquidation surely the trophies should have been sold to pay off the creditors rather than given to the new club?

Charlie Green bought that history.
