Tom Rogic’s agent has dismissed speculation that the midfielder is on his way to England.

In midweek a report from Australia claimed that Leicester City and Southampton were preparing to offer between £15m and £20m for the midfielder.

Both clubs have strong connections to Celtic but after signing a new deal that keeps with with Celtic until 2023 a move would seem unlikely.

Only Scott Brown, Mikael Lustig and James Forrest have been at Celtic for longer than Rogic with Daniel Berman seeing no reason for that to change.

“I’ve had no contact from Southampton or Leicester,” the agent told The Sun.

“Tom is on a long contract, is winning trophies, respects and loves the institution that is Celtic Football Club. For him, it’s all about the Treble Treble.”

Rogic was signed by Celtic in January 2013 from West Coat Mariners but struggled to make a real breakthrough in his first seasons but that all changed once Brendan Rodgers took charge in 2016.

Twelve goals in the Invincible season were capped off by the last gasp winner against Aberdeen in the final of the Scottish Cup to clinch the treble.
