Christophe Berrra has become the latest loser to criticise Scott Brown.

In December Aberdeen skipper Graeme Shinnie complained about the way Brown treated Lewis Ferguson as Celtic won the Betfred Cup for the third year running.

In March Alfredo Morelos, Andy Halliday and Ryan Kent all served suspensions for various attacks on Brown as Celtic went 13 points clear at the top of the SPFL after a derby day victory.

Brown is the most marked man in Scottish football and it’s no coincidence that he is also the most decorated with Saturday’s win over Hearts his fifth time lifting the Scottish Cup.

Uche Ikpeazu and Steven MacLean squared up to the Celtic skipper at the final whistle with Berra quick to share his views after picking up his runners-up medal.

He told the Daily Record: “It is not classy and you don’t see that happening at the top level at clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool who dominate down there. They have a bit of class about them.

“Scott has had it all his own way for a long time and all credit to him, he is a good player and the team have done well, but sometimes you can be a bit more classy and a sportsman.

“It is okay doing it when things are going well. He is using his position to his advantage but you don’t see it happening in other leagues because you should show a bit of respect and get on with it.”

Berra showed little respect for Odsonne Edouard when he dived hoping to get the striker booked, the Frenchman had the last laugh however when he raced away to score the decisive goal to leave Hearts trophy-less.
