Christopher Jullien is continuing to troll Celtic fans as they follow his transfer progress across social media.
Late on Tuesday night respected French publisher L’Equipe reported that Celtic and Toulouse had agreed a fee for the defender and that a medical could quickly be arranged.
That report wasn’t guesswork with Jullien creating a video for Instagram showing the front page of L’Equipe.
Further video clips showed Jullien working with weights suggesting that he is preparing to go back into pre-season training.
After watching his side beat SK Pinkafeld 6-1 Neil Lennon was happy to confirm Celtic’s interest in the defender noting that it takes additional time to bring in quality.
Last night Celtic started with Jozo Simunovic and Stephen Hendry in central defence, surprisingly there was no place on the bench for Jack Hendry.
Kris Ajer is a week behind the rest of the squad in terms of pre-season training following his international commitments with Norway.
Simunovic and Welsh are likely to start against SK Weiner on Saturday but Ajer is scheduled to return to the side for Tuesday’s friendly against Swiss side St Gallen.
