Celtic seem to be enjoying some early season good luck in the draws for the Champions League qualifiers.

After the first round draw paired them with Sarajevo from Bosnia, success for the hoops will see them playing against Nomme Kalju or Shkendija for a place in the third round.

Even the anoraks will have struggled to locate either side with google revealing that Nomme are the champions of Estonia and Shkendija the best side in Macedonia.

To reach the third qualifying round a club with turnover of £100m require to get past the champions of Bosnia and either Estonia or Macedonia.

Shkendija are the seeded side in the first round draw with a co-efficient of 6 while Nomme have gathered 3.5 co-efficient points over the last five years. Celtic have a co-efficient of 30.

The heat in Bosnia or Macedonia should be Celtic’s biggst concern but television requirements will probably ensure evening kick offs with the squad surviving the heat of Armenia a year ago.
