Neil Lennon has vowed to crack down on information leaking out of Lennoxtown.

Throughout last season team news regularly found it’s way online with message boards and social media giving very accurate steers a day in advance of fixtures.

Brendan Rodgers joked about drones when the subject was brought up but Lennon was less amused when his selections were going public ahead of vital fixtures.

Earlier this month the leaks went a stage further when a transfer document from the start of April found it’s way online with the subject clearly causing concern for the Celtic boss.

Sky Sports News reports:

Meanwhile, Lennon also reiterated his determination to stop leaks coming out of the club, particularly regarding transfer targets.

“We set parameters this year by speaking to the staff and staff at Lennoxtown [Training Centre]. And we will address it with the players as well,” Lennon said. “There has to be at a club like this a level of privacy because we are a big club.

“For me it was far too loose last year and we want to nip that in the bud and get back to doing things the way that we have always done it. For me that is the professional way to do things.”

Lennon is currently in Austria conducting transfer business while putting his squad to work as they gear up for the new season.

Celtic have had to end their interest in David Turnbull but all going well Christopher Jullien will sign his contract and fly out to join the squad in Austria.

The Toulouse defender was in the UK for a medical with terms agreed with the player and between the two clubs.
