Christopher Jullien has said farewell to Toulouse fans with a cryptic message of ‘why not a chocolate!’

Google translate wasn’t required to work out the final line of his Instagram following his £7m move to Celtic.

Jullien certainly kept Celtic fans enthralled during the days living up to his transfer but now that he has joined the Scottish champions he took time out to share some thoughts with the fans he left behind in France.

Grandir… #newchallenge #heretocreate

Growing up … I arrived in Toulouse to discover Ligue 1, after more than a hundred matches for this club, I can say that I grew up thanks to TFC @toulousefc ???

Yes the context was sometimes difficult but it forges you, the adversity grows those which it does not abate …

I thank the club, the staff, my coaches and all those who work in the shadows for their trust from the beginning.

To all my teammates with whom I shared these moments, thank you guys you are real fighters.?

To you fans, BIG UP, you are real! You like your club and it shows, it feels, Thank you for your honesty.

Thanks to the #TeamVIF and all my loved ones, your presence was indispensable to me.?

A new challenge presents itself, but I will never forget the #ForzaViola. I will continue to enjoy the quarter of an hour Toulouse and why not a chocolate

Celtic will play two matches against St Gallen on Tuesday with Jullien expected to play in the afternoon ‘reserve’ match with Neil Lennon wanting as many players as possible to get 90 minutes.

With the first competitive match in Satajevo a week after the St Gallen games attention is now turning to getting through eight qualifying ties to reach the group stage.

In his previous stint as Celtic boss Lennon had a 100% record of reaching the group stage of the Champions League, in the 2012/13 season Celtic picked up 10 points to reach the last 16 were they were knocked out by Juventus.
