Nomme Kalju are expected to arrive in Glasgow today without their Ukranian manager and key defender who are in Paris to get a visa to enter the UK.

Manager Roman Kozhukhovskyi and key defender Andriy Markovych had to travel separately as the Estonian champions prepare for Wednesday’s match.

Most clubs tend to travel the day before they play but Nomme appear to be making the most of their trip to one of the most iconic venues in world football.

Speaking to The Sun Nomme Kalju president Kuno Tehvasaid said: “We can’t afford to hope the ordinary route to get a visa is processed in time. Both Kozhukhovskyi and Markovych will travel instead to Paris where they will quickly get a visa, which is a solution to the issue.”

The trip to Glasgow only became reality in the closing moments of their first round qualifier against Shkendija when a late winner took them through on away goals with a 2-2 aggregate.

Celtic had both legs of the first round tie watched and are strong favourites to go through to the third round with the draw for that stage being made at 11am on Monday.
