A day after Neil Lennon complained about the non-stop cycle of speculation concerning Kieran Tierney moving to Arsenal.
It seems that the weekend is the favoured time to launch a fresh bout of speculation with the ‘latest’ appearing at 5.50pm tonight.
Arsenal’s transfer attempts have been ridiculed throughout the game after word seeped out that Unai Emery had a budget of £45m to work with.
Arsenal are increasingly confident a deal with Celtic for defender Kieran Tierney is edging closer, according to Sky sources.

A bid of £40m was quickly dismissed by Crystal Palace for Wilfried Zaha while there is talk of a £27m offer to Saint Etienne for teenager William Saliba who will go back to the French side on loan for this season.
It seems that the initial bid for Tierney only stretched to £17m with the second one guaranteeing £20m with a further £5m in the unlikely event of Arsenal reaching the Champions League.
Tierney has still to resume full training and has given no indication that he wants to leave Celtic where he has a contract running until 2023.
