Neil Lennon hasn’t ruled out Moritz Bauer making his Celtic debut at Ibrox on Sunday.

The defender signed a season long loan from Stoke City this afternoon but hasn’t played any competitive football.

Hatem Abd Elhamed and Kris Ajer have been used at right-back so far this season but both of them prefer to play in central defence.

Bauer isn’t eligible to play in tomorrow’s Europa League Play Off against AIK but Lennon will watch the Austrian internationalist in training before deciding on his side for Sunday’s derby match.

Abd Elhamed has missed Celtic’s last two matches due to injury but is with the Celtic squad in Sweden for the AIK match.

Bauer’s career has stalled since moving to Stoke 18 months ago after working under Paul Lambert, Gary Rowatt and Nathan Jones.

Lennon is still hoping to sign two more players before the transfer window closes on Monday at midnight.
