Chris Sutton was at a complete loss over the decision to keep Odsonne Edouard on the park for 76 minutes of Celtic’s 4-1 win over AIK in Sweden tonight.
The scoreline was fantastic but ticking through the match was the fear of injury with Kris Ajer substituted before 15 minutes was on the clock.
James Forrest and a spectacular own goal had Celtic 2-1 up at the break leaving the Swedes looking for four goals in the second half to win the tie.
Well played Celtic tonight spanking Stockholm 4-1… strong performance ????????Let’s hope Edouard is fit for Sunday though… big call not to take him off earlier ??

With Ajer already off injured surely Neil Lennon should be thinking of resting Forrest and Edouard now for Sunday…

Midway through the second half Edouard seemed to be pulling up but when a second substitute came on Lewis Morgan replaced Mikey Johnston.
Clearly in some discomfort the young French striker sat down then lay stretched out on the turf with the match stopped to allow treatment as Vakoun Bayo came on as a replacement.
Celtic fans will now listen out anxiously to see if Ajer and Edouard are going to be fit for 90 minutes at Ibrox on Sunday.
